    Hi all

The house is still for sale… it’s gorgeous. We still love it… but it needs to move onto to a pair of safe hands. If you can think of anyone who may be interested please let them know. We need the funds so we can build our dream semi sustainable home in the burbs of Sydney so we can be close to family.

    Thanks 🙂

    Yvonne

HIIT (High intensity interval training) is very good. In less than 5 minutes you get a great workout.

I’ve done it in the past and really should get back into it (I just use my exercise bike but you can run or do anything else but it has to be super controllable ie no treadmill). It’s super tiring and I’m pooped at the end of a the 4.x minutes I do it for.

Only go as hard as you can — it’s good that way. My scheme is 20 seconds flat out, 10 seconds (pedal) slow, 20 seconds flat out, 10 seconds (pedal) slow etc for 8 ’rounds’.

I think Mosley’s version is shorter than that but I’m sure the links will in this thread will give you more info.

I definitely feel the cardio workout through most of the day.

    Hi Emma-Leigh

I’m in Peakhurst but will be in Kingsford on Saturday evening… where are you located? Oddswop is actually a startup I’m involved in so would really encourage you to ‘make an offer’ on the site 🙂 (offer me $0)

I’m happy to pass it to someone who will make good use of it!

    Kind regards,

    Yvonne

Sorry this is such a late response (I never got the email notification or it got lost 🙂 )

it’s the highest BAL rating unfortunately but we had it all cleared for this purpose.

The house is still for sale… it’s getting to the point I’m thinking we should just hang on to it and rent it out or do something else with it. The problem is that it’s another property we need to worry about. Still we’re enjoying whilst we own it and go up every other weekend to listen to the cicadas and enjoy the peace and quiet.

It’s in Howes Valley which is near Putty (if that helps!)

There is a dam near the house (if you’re a city slicker like me it’s a earth ‘pond’ 🙂 ) and only a creek on the property after a LOT of rain.

PM me if you want more info.

just posted in another thread but it may be useful to look at these guys too?

    http://www.onzite.com.au/

    they do SA too!

We have an A&A worm farm at our holiday house we built and just looking at an alternative company at this stage for a new home build. (We didn’t really enjoy the purchase process although the system works fine).

We have (LPG) gas stove and LPG instant hot water but have always planned to get a Nectre Baker’s Oven for cooking (the gas stove is a single gas hob which is used mainly for summer and quick cooking). My question is mainly around the hot water jacket. We don’t have a water tank as we are doing instant hot water… so what sort of tank would we need if we do decide to get a water jacket? I don’t think we will but that’s only because I can’t think of how it would hook up to the water system.

You may want to check out http://www.mtbest.net where there is some more information about someone who has built one.
