I give my chooks coarse layer mash too, and it also has pellets in it…..they chooks won’t eat them but the wild birds will!!! They just don’t like the pellets.

Definitely get the cloudy one with the ‘mother’….it costs more but is better medicinally apparently.
Put it this way….if anyone who consumes the food or eggs gets sick and can prove it was from your negligence (i.e. from your food) then you could be sued for damages.

Yes, its not far off really. I made my Christmas cake today – a big heavy fruit cake (Grandmothers recipe) with 10 eggs!!!! Will leave it wrapped and stored safely to ‘ripen’.
