One way of getting access is to search for relevant torrent, for instance if you want River Cottage Australia season 2 episode 4, search for River Cottage Australia S02E04 in google, then go to a site such as kickass torrents in the search results and click on the magnet shaped link.

Simply you say! However you need a torrent downloading program as well, such as Utorrent. If you have this program on your computer and you click on the magnet link, Utorrent will start automatically and download the file to your downloads file!

Any questions, just ask! I’m not tech savvy and I can ‘borrow’ with the best of ’em!

The program basically said the companies that did the largest (maybe unecessary) upgrading were the most profitable, as they could regain costs + 10% from the customer! So gold plating the key to profit!

How do we stop this ludicrous situation??

SE NSW, three hours from Canberra, around half way between Sydney and Melbourne. Willing to travel… used to it down here.

Veering towards inhouse rather than correspondence at this stage.

Have a dream of using others waste to earn a living!

Tried a few methods with my Terrier mut. She’s killed three birds over time. Sadly we cannot leave her out and have the birds free range. It’s one or the other!

Amazingly, dog crosses the road and walks in amongst neighbours free ranging birds. They take no notice of her.

Maybe I just answered my own question as well! My birds flee, and get eaten. Neighbours ignore. Therefore, it might have as much to do with the birds as the dog??

I have reasonable big transmission lines crossing a corner of my property. Having little kids I was a bit concerned. However, with my sisters help, who works for a major NSW power distributor, I borrowed a EMF meter for a little experimentation.

The overhead cables gave off less EMF radiation than our oven or microwave.

Interesting. Though not dismissing the effects of living under power lines constantly. There may be accumulative effects?

Check out this quick video from people who have wind turbines on their property, not just the usual ‘sob stories’ from those who miss out on the income and mysteriously start getting ‘wind turbine syndrome’!

With all the ‘spin’ about the effects of wind turbines out there, not too mention climate change. It is easy to be put off ‘cleaner’ energy sources.

Arguments such as ‘wind turbine syndrome’ and embedded energy worries have been debunked. Here’s a couple of links from The Conversation to get you started

Ironically been down the morning and had a peck at a couple of my favorite seaweeds! Neptunes Necklace, when young/ small and Sea Lettuce are both quite palatable straight from the water.

One of the River Cottage Oz episodes had them eating seaweed and also pickilng it to make a salad of sorts, will have to try this me thinks!

Great idea, really needs to be linked to a mobile app, so you could (with the gps’s help) simply turn it on and see what’s happening in a given radius of where you are currently located!

Damn, gave away my idea to make a squillion again 🙂

I can’t go past Conversations with Richard Fiedler, great Australian ABC journo. Some fantastic interviews with the famous and not so. Hundreds of programs there!

This guy has some interesting podcasts, The Greening of Gavin, of his journey and some quite specific, like his cheesecast.
