McGirl: Sorry, we only serve them in sixes or nines.
Me: *sigh*…May I have two serves of six nuggets please?

This sucks. I am guessing that the reason you haven’t called the RSPCA is because she is your landlord and you don’t want you or your family to suffer.
If that is the case, you are helpless. Perhaps you could have someone else call or see if it can be done anonymously? Option 2 is to make the call and hope she won’t retaliate but it sounds…[Read more]

The alternative here is to accept government intervention in what we do with our own possessions.
These things are not “our” land. The land belongs to someone and that someone has the right to sell it to whomever they like. You have no say in this matter because it is not your land. It is not mine. It is theirs. So we have no say in the…[Read more]

They said the same thing about Japan in the 1980’s and my people have yet to conquer Australia. After that it was China. Last I checked, we are not yet Chinese. Now those evil Arabs are out to steal Australia?

Has anyone found any evidence that the pink slime is being used in Australia? I have yet to find anything of the sort. Even in the US, the fast food giants have stopped using it and McDonalds Australia never did. As far as I can tell, this issue is confined to US school lunches. Can anyone else find something about this showing we do/do not…[Read more]

I was lurking reddit and I came across this website.
I thought some of you would be interested, especially on this thread. Pick a location and a weapon size then hit detonate and it will show you the effects of a nuclear strike. It’s cool and scary at the same time.

It won’t be visible everywhere. Total eclipse can be seen only in certain areas on the planet. There will be partial eclipse in other areas and the rest of the world won’t notice.
Basically, you need to be under the shadow to see the eclipse.

Given the radiation emission involved, the only way a fusion (or cold fusion) reactor could work is by siting it a long way away from population centres. Big is the only way to go here.

Given that Rossi is supposed to be in good health right now, I would guess that this cold fusion claim is no more real than any of the others.
I can find nothing to indicate that the device has been independently tested so all we have is someone claiming to have created a cold fusion process. People claim all sorts of things. We are not…[Read more]
