Well done!! Desmond is one very lucky boy. Seems you are doing everything right for him:tup:
A word of caution when you do put him out on green pasture. Make sure he has had a lot of hay and other roughage first before he gorges the green stuff. Goats are very susceptible to bloat from green feed.

Hi Judi Yeah, I really don’t miss the -8 deg mornings with frozen water pipes and having to break the ice in the goats water trough so they can get a drink 🙂

forest… I live in Proserpine, about 30 kms from Airlie. It does get quite cold here in winter. Last nights temp dropped to 5 degrees!!:o At least the days are nice with temps in the low to mid 20s.
