Aussies Living Simply

  • If there is any lobbying etc that you think will help Hillbilly Girl. I have a small property just out of Scottsdale that I am soon to start building on, so happy to add my voice to the issue. Let us know when the meeting in November is and I will try to attend as I will be in Tassie next month.

  • I have been following your thread with interest. As i am looking to move to Tassie in the near future and have a small property there, how are things progressing with the fracking issue?

Great news about the windfall. Hope it helps.

  • Just saw your post. So how did the get together go? Are there any photos?
I was over in Tassie last weekend and briefly joined in the Chauncey Vale GTG before heading to the airport. It was great to meet and put faces to posts. If you hold another, I would love to come from the Barossa.

Have arrived home safely. I really enjoyed meeting you all and wish I could have stayed longer. I didn’t get lost on the way to the airport and made it in time. Great photos TT and very quick. ITs good to be able to put faces to names and hope to catch up again, so much more to talk about.:D

Would it be ok for a South Aussie to say hi and if so, is the meeting place at the Sanctuary at the end of Chauncy Vale Road?

We found out quickly that a couple of things to check is if the land has had a ‘Land Capability Assessment’ done as some councils won’t allow building on land with a 1,2,3, or 4 assessment. Also check minimum set backs from boundaries and roads are…[Read more]
