can you tell me approx how much poo to how much water you make the brew, then whats the ratio for your “tea” please?
we have at the moment 6 x 200 lt drums with about 1/4 cow manure and rest water, brewing away…
Thanks for that, we decided that we will give it a trial on just a few plant, will let you know the outcome!
…and…NO, no vampires and no flu, we eat garlic thinly slices on vegemite toast every morning!
Hey Bodkins, thanks for your answer, yes I was under the same impression, because its too strong, could burn plants! so if you can find out more it will be very much appreciated, maybe we could dilute it 1:100 and try out on a couple of garlic plants to see what happens, we have planted around 30 000 so its important to do the “right thing”, so far…[Read more]

I have found a warehouse in Taree that sells wheat, here are the details for anyone interested
Opening Hours Mo – Fri 09:00 to 16:00
I paid $25 for a 25kg bag of clean wheat, one has to call and order the wheat its not a regular stock item
Cheers and happy baking
thank you so much for all your ideas! the wood shavings are still sitting on our trailer and waiting for my husband and me to agree on their usage, i would go with the peter cundall path in the vegie garden, but himself wants to digg it straight into the soil….
Hi, I think this is Scarlet pimpernel, cant see any flowers in the photo but if they are pink or coral coloured (light orange), with five pointed petals and flower in summer. It spreads by seed.
If you are an organic gardener, get rid of them with hand weeding otherwise (hope not) use the dreaded glyphosate (Roundup)
Happy Gardening 🙂
Thanks guys, we live in the mountains about 700 m above sealevel, inland from mid north coast so we do get oodles of rain, more than enough this summer!!! and unfortunatly I cant replant them again, since they laying limply on the compost heap lol
