There should be more of that in our media
Reality check for the sheeple please
There will be even less of it in mainstream media once Fairfax and News Ltd merge.
RW I thought the same thing about the braised steak and onions, it was mainly gravy without much substance at all. It tasted ok but I won’t buy it again.
Will try the other ones soon.
Name them and shame them I say.
I too didn’t go in this swap as I had too much on and wasn’t sure I could get it organised in a respectable time.
The other swaps I have joined have been wonderful. I must have been one of the lucky ones that didn’t have to wait too long.
Neata I would love to send you something to make up for your MIA swap, please pm me.
I made a wheat bag for my DIL this afternoon with some lavender from my garden. It smells divine.
I think I will make a few more for chrissy presents.:D

According to the instructions the batteries last about 2 years and are easily replaced.
I bought one of these solar lamps from Ikea the other day and am surprised by how good they are.
Just leave it near a window during the day and get 3 hours of lamp light at night. They give off enough light to read or cook by.
I thought they were good value for $20.
One of the things that web site Survival mom said was to grow roses and I thought WHY but when I reread the piece you grow them very close together to form a barrier but you don’t cut it back
Or if your in the sub-tropics grow bougainvillea, it is prolific, takes no maintenance and no-one is getting through that prickly little sucker.;)
WOW you guys!! Thanks for so much encouragement and advice, I really appreciate it.

I think, like you say, I am so used to being busy, planning my life around work that I am worried I will fritter my time away.
I think I need a plan.;)
I am absolutely loving this book. It is so much more than I expected it to be. Hoping to find some answers to a few questions I have been asking myself lately.
Thanks for the recommendation Sonya.
