We used to get milk straight from a dairy until we discovered the antibiotics the dairy farmer had for his cows. That did us.We became vegan after that .Now that we have goats we are organic. No antibiotics for me through milk.

Thank you for those links and the news alert.
From the newspaper article-“It’s strange, because raw goat’s milk is legal but raw cow’s milk is not, so a lot of people feed their children raw goat’s milk instead.”
Raw goat milk is actually a safer product as goats don’t get tb or brucelosis.

I was cooking lentils in my pressure cooker a week ago and it did explode.I was cutting up vegies on the bench beside the stove when without any warning it happened.
The lid didn’t come off but the contents of the pot ended up all over my kitchen and some with projectile force hit my face just over my eye.The pot itself travelled also.

No from what I have seen the China study was conducted with a lot of integrity.
I think there are interests that don’t like the results and are doing their best to discredit it.
The researchers were not paid by private corporations and they were not looking for certain results.
Rather were just wanting to see what the data would tell them.

100 kgs of watermelon is not a lot of watermelon to eat at all.
They don’t necessarily ripen together.
Hope you succeed. Our watermelons rotted due to our flooding event this last summer. -
replied to the topic What is the best pumpkin variety? in the forum Vegetables 8 years, 10 months ago
I went to this site -http://rareseeds.com/
looked through their pumpkin seed list( they call them squash) ,they have good descriptions
and ordered.
We are allowed to bring pumpkin seed into Australia from US.I checked with AQIS and had no trouble.
They have lots of varieties we don’t have in Australia.

replied to the topic Any Super Beetroot Growers out there? in the forum Propagation 8 years, 11 months ago
I think it is related to soil ph.My best beetroot grew in compost. Whereas when I just grow it in soil with manure or fertilizer it doesn’t do so great. In fact it does lousy.
From what I understand compost is the ideal ph for pretty much everything.
