all the public schools i have dealt with over the yrs have a shop usually run by p&c where you can buy new and used uniforms at a reasonable price, my grandkids school has the little dresses in perfect condition for $2 this yr, and some things for as little as $1. yes you can use a food processor my dad uses his all the time for jams, as for the seeds leave them in as they usually float to the top and can be skimmed off. oh good, i was going to fence off a little corner of their outside run and toss them in, i will now as it will have plenty of light, i will just put a little roof on to keep them dry and hope it works.

tried the cold water dip, she enjoyed it and is still clucky, I am now on the hunt for a small cage to put them in, I am not getting any eggs even though the girls look like they should be laying, very red combs, do you think the mad cluckies are putting them off :shrug:

thanks, i was thinking of isolating them, will try to give the cold water treatment on hens but i am not going to try duck, she is a touch unstabale shall we say 🙂 and likes to ahve a go at you, i will search around for another cage and put them in, would it be better to seperate them?

hi Len, It isnt me who is diabetic it is my husband, he has had it since he turned 40 and he is 57 now, the best thing for hypos is fanta i believe, if he has one i always have lollies and that works fine. well we are looking for a new doc the old one retired, if it was my body i would go off meds, and start again, meaning diet and exercise first, could never understand why the doctor(2 doctors ago) insisted on meds in first place, his sugar wasnt too high, highest reading was 8.5 and all tests showed no organ problems. anyway husband wont try, fair…[Read more]

welcome, thought about methane gas, as you have pigs, yrs ago on burkes backyard a guy in sydney went fully self sustianed, he used wind, sun and pig power. worth a look if you have the time. gotta be on web somewhere
