Just when you think summer is coming it gets all cold again. Planted carrots yesterday and starting to clear up all the older spring flowers. So loved all the sweet peas, given away heaps, going to collect seeds. Pulled up a wonderful Californian gold and white poppy plants and have been collecting seed from them. They were gorgeous.

I used the George Forman Grill just to decide whether to give it away or not. Pain to clean, cooked sausages in it and lamb chops but reckon a frying pan will do. Still deciding. The muffin maker I am still wondering about also whether to even bother to make them or not is the issue. I mean how long has it been since I made muffins. Don’t even buy them.

Can you split the area in half with a temp fence so the chicks get to walk around, a pecking order will have to be established , maybe you can let one other chicken in see what happens then. I only have 3 chickens someone else may know more.
