Thanks for all the advice. Just finished washing it up and it came up like new. Left it sitting over night with diet coke in it than i heated it up on the stove this morning and it came up like a new one with the use of a soap pad. Once again thanks to everyone.April 30, 2011 at 10:28 am #495220
I already have a Honda 400 4WD bike and an old tow behind slasher which no longer works. It only had a 8.2HP moter which was not powerful enough in thick grass.April 30, 2011 at 6:26 am #495218
They tow behind an ATV or ride on mower or anything similar. Polaris manufacture a more expensive model if you look up their site. Todds Machinery in Albury sell the TWM models.February 26, 2011 at 8:34 am #489373

Well we can finally put this to rest. Telstra have installed a permanent system based on the Next G that has an aerial on the roof and so far everything is working ok. The only problem will be if the power goes off for any length of time. Thank you everyone who got involved.

Finally got a service that works, using a small aerial attached to the glass at the front of the house and works perfectly. No problems since it was installed a couple of weeks ago. Received a call from Telstra the other day to make an appointment to install an intrim service which i nvolves putting a large aerial on the roof. When I told them I had a service that works they said that they diddnt know what that was and that they had to replace it with this new service. So now I have to wait until the16th to find out what im getting and see if it works.May 22, 2010 at 6:25 pm #439196
Jumped the gun, this service hasnt worked in days, so still not connectedMay 11, 2010 at 6:08 pm #459398
Look up Sheen Flame Gun on Google, they are manufactured in the UK and are sold in Australia by Bon Trading in Sydney. It uses kerosene not gas and burns at 2000 degrees and are very effective on all weeds. Not cheap , I bought one about 4 yrs ago and I think it was nearly $300 but you dont have to carry around a gas bottle.May 8, 2010 at 3:25 pm #439194

Just a quick one to say that Telstra havent given up yet. Had 2 techs here all day yesterday and a call from Brisbane after they left to say they were still working on it. They are sending down more equipment nd it should be here early next week.April 13, 2010 at 9:32 pm #439189
still nothing from telstra once again. They decided to put in an interim sat service the tech turned up at the door the day after the appointment date and i was not there so he left everything at thne door never to be seen again. That was the 17th of last month never to be seen againApril 12, 2010 at 2:41 pm #460160
