What would be the differences between food grade and non food grade?

I know you have to be careful on the chrystaline silica content but none of that information is on the bucket I got so that makes it a bit hard.

I see them in the Quokka (WA paper) and Gumtree quite often. People seem to think ‘wow’ and then ‘boring’ and sell them pretty cheaply! Wish someone would do that do a Thermomix!!!!

I bought a Nara and love it.

    Hi

I have had one of these for years! Love it!

Their version of an instruction manual is a tiny booklet with not a lot of info in it! They do ave an email tcmark@optusnet.com.au if that helps.

I just used info off the internet and books from the library to work out mine!

A friend of mine uses batteries for his PV system that Telstra get rid of. Apparently due to their safety/maintenance schedule, they dont allow them to get anywhere near their used by date before they are replaced. Not sure how they get rid of them, aution maybe? But he gets them VERY cheap and he said they are really good quality. Just a thought anyhow! Good luck!

I bought two from Diggers several years ago…they were so sick looking after they reached my place (WA) and they died several weeks later. I complained to Diggers and the sent another two out…same result. I gave up and waited another year before feeling optomistic and trying again. They are still alive, and have definitely grown, but far from what I would say is a thriving plant for well over a years growth…hoping they do something special this summer. I am keen for my first cup of tea, but may have to wait a little longer!

Just noticed that the Pinjarra Health Food shop is running a range of interesting courses, including one on soap making! There are a few other courses too, I remember one on raw foods coming up soon.

    Thanks!

I’ve set up three traps with three different ‘brews’, will see how they all go!

They ALL stink, so it’s now up to the fussy flies to choose!!!

I have about 4 in pots, which are about 2 to 3 years old. I live in Perth, which I realise is not perfect pineapple climate, so need to know whether I’m wasting my time or not???? 🙁

    Hiya Annean,

I can help you with getting a great supply of NZ Whites for breeding. I’ve got some does which I breed for meat and am really happy with the outcome. I am in Serpentine, so let me know if you need any help/contacts.

I’m not far behind you with three machines and no instructions!! LOL

Sounded like such a brilliant idea when a friend wanted to get rid of them…

So how do you tell if you have flour that has high or low gluten content? Is it labelled somewhere? Gosh, I am going to need MORE storage space for all the different flours!! LOL
