Has any one grown these plants, I have two in and they have just started flowering.

When is the correct time for harvest?

    Any help appreciated thanks.

The tops should die down a bit after flowering and thats the time to check for the tubers………….have a bandicoot around like you would for potatoes.

Wish i had the chance to do that this winter, mine were looking lush and healthy………..just before they drowned:confused:

Thanks RTB, one of mine was a bit stinted but with the rain over the last month has shot ahead. If you need some bulbs to plant let me know and I will see what is there at harvest.

Hi Tully have been sorting out a few problems, we were not sure if we were staying here or moving plus still trying to find a bit of work.

Look’s like we are staying so things are easing back a bit and I can get back to the garden. Have not done much this year.

Once I harvest I should have a few tubers to spare.

I think I left them in the ground to long. So those who have planted and harvested, how do you keep them or preserve them.

    Cheers
