Sawdust helps disguise the pong & that only works whilst the sawdust is dry.. but ultimately the smell is part n’ parcel of having ducks.
I have 3 muscovies and absolutely love them. They have a large pen and also free range and I really dont notice any smell unless one of them lets go right near me then I really get it :rip:. Keep them clean and the smell isnt noticeable.
The Cayuga duck is a beautiful iridescent black/green bird and its quack, apparently, isn’t as loud or as frequent as other ducks. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cayuga_Duck
They look interesting Bullseye.. I love the Indian Runners.
I have been looking for a breeder of colored Indians for some time & it turns out that my boss has quite a number of colors & he is 2 minutes away
