This is my home that I am trying to sell as I’m retired and want to downsize.
This property has a large block with an established orchard and raised vegie beds. It was solar panels and solar hot water as well as 2 rainwater tanks for topping up the pool and watering the vegie beds. There is an Ozi-Kleen toilet treatment system installed which waters the ornamental garden automatically. We are also connected to town water so there is no fear of running out. The water pressure is amazing. The hexagonal home has been built to take the best advantage of the sun for winter heating (there is also an economical heat pump fitted) and the view down the beautiful Tamar river. During the summer there is cross ventilation and awnings fitted to the north-east and north-west windows. We are 20 minutes north of Launceston in the middle of the wine growing area. There is a primary and secondary school 5 minutes away as well as doctors, pub, supermarket all within 10 minutes. It is indeed a beautiful and friendly part of Tasmania.
