This one that hit this afternoon 🙂 We needed some rain but not like this.
In the veggie garden:
Big branch across the driveway:
DH & DS moving the branch so DS could go home:
Leaves stuck to the side of the house:
Same side of the house:
A black wattle uprooted in the field:
And after the storm had moved on:
whoa! hope there isn’t too much damage.
Wow Marz, you copped it!
My corn and potatoes are a bit horizontal but we didn’t get too much here at all.
I saw some pics on the tv Marz, it looked like snow in QLD, hope everything is ok and not to much cleaning up for you’s.
Thanks guy – no not much damage really, hope it’s windy tomorrow to blow all the leaves away. The pics on tv were south of Bris yesterday, we’re 3 hrs north of Bris. It’s the first hailstorm we’ve seen since moving here 3 1./2 yrs ago. The lightening was VERY scary tho. :jawdrop:
Ugh. Hope everything recovers from the damage. One of the few times I was greatful that most storms seem to miss us here. We only had a few specks of rain.
Wow marz , you sure copped that one!! Was very wild here too this arvo, and again early this morning, but no hail, and we are sheltered by bush from the west where the storms are coming from at present.Early last saturday am here was worse , truly scary, the one DH managed to get caught in 300 m from home.37mls rain in that one..20ml rain all up today was welcome.
We copped a doozy a couple months ago
Wow Trandto, thats amazing the hail sitting on top of the netting, looks like its been snowing.
Well who sent the bloody hurricane down to my place today ????
We have no idea what the weather was like here in Nanango as we were in Brisbane but there was very dark clouds with a distinct line, the rain came heavy and hard then the hail started first it was pea sized then it slowly got bigger and some was the size of golf balls scary stuff.
We had 21mm of rain in the past few days.
