That looks great. I was going to sprout about how great it was today to get 3 eggs after not getting any for weeks and I picked a bucket of peas too, but it just doesn’t seem worth it after seeing that wonderful pic.

Finally the veggies are starting to kick along. This was yesterday’s haul. More tomatoes, string beans and other goodies today. Woo hoo – was starting to wonder when the summer was going to kick in properly. Now to work out what I’m going to do with it all….

My new vegetables are finally kicking in too… I was away from home in the spring (not a good idea, but coudn’t help the timeing… family business) and arrived home to a heatwave… it’s been very hot and dry ever since…. no rain… except for 0.5mm ten days ago!

Today though… eggplants, tomatoes, zucchinis and basil.

I am beginning to plant the brassicas for early winter harvest also!
