What a week packing to go on holiday tomorrow to lovely cold Bright Vic, trying to finish off painting side roof, one coat more and I would have been finished but it rained as well. So trying to wash, a nightmare getting it dry, but eventually did by the fire.
Mum( dementia) suddenly remembered dad had died so was upset for a while about being on her own and crying and go on and on. Then my tooth starting aching so had to have the beginning of a root canal only now have to go to a specialist being a top molar, which set off the bottom and back again for another go in 10 mins. The dentist and I have decided its time to redo quite a few due to the infection. So on antibiotics, a holiday, lots of dentist visits coming up, and also looking at getting mum into somewhere by Christmas.
Since my husband had his heart attack 11 years ago life has just got harder and harder. Please think happy thoughts for me, so things may get better.
Talk to you in about 10 days. Bright BTW was like 2 – 13 degrees overnight bit of a change from here at being 11 – 20 tomorrow. Will be a nice change tho lovely area. I am taking the soup maker lol.June 17, 2015 at 3:18 am #536388

Kasalia wishing you happiness and also a big hug.
Same here rain wise nice drop pity we haven’t been able to replace the guttering about a quarter is running down the side of the house 🙁
callie with the wood if you get desperate for dry wood just put it on a cake cooler on top of the heater just remember to turn it over every now and then ….. we’ve been caught out before and did this.
Not much happening here today too wet and cold to venture outside… perfect weather for baking so might get into that when DH gets up he had another bad nightJune 17, 2015 at 5:13 am #536390MistyHParticipant

I’m in the process of spreading a 5′ x 4′ roll of pea straw around my garden (hopefully to out compete the winter weeds), the roll is getting smaller. I am told they are equivalent to about 17 to 20 of the smaller bales, I shouldn’t have too much trouble getting my 10,000 steps today if I get most of the bale done.June 21, 2015 at 4:33 am #536399ballamaraKeymaster
Today is one of those days for DH. First the chain saw throw a hissy fit, then the generator runs beautifully but doesn’t produce any electricity and to crown it all off the pull start on the lawn mower breaks off in his hand. I don’t think he should touch any more electrical gadgets for a while.June 22, 2015 at 4:33 am #536400
Yesterday we went to a permaculture farm had a great day, got a tour of the gardens and we got some pointers on what not to do with building a poly tunnel.
Today I slept in don’t know why it wasn’t as cold only -0.1°. I finished spreading the mulch around the asparagus, plum and daffodils, covered the strawberries so the wildlife doesn’t get any and harvested some more water chestnuts.
