Longing for some rain. Put up more fences and gates today to move stock trying to give them all a share of the small amount of feed that is left
so happy those who need the rain are getting it .. 🙂
The Midyim Berry seed that I planted a few weeks back has started the sprout and I couldn’t be happier as I like the fruit but can’t afford to buy many of the plants.
We got 4 mm that probably doesn’t sound much to queenslanders but is great for us as it means we don’t have to hand water. I was watching a doco on Lake Eyre the other night and shock of shocks this year they have had more annual rainfall then us.
Can you strike Midyim easily from cuttings? The council here uses it in the gardens as little informal hedges
I would give it a go, seeing they seem to grow well in your area, what have you got to lose.or collect some of the berries.

Gets a bit spooky when it gets a bit snakey.I had to pull out the whipper snipper as I was getting a bit scared to get to the car.Had a gree n tree snake in the lime tree a few days back ,I was watching it and it disappeared when I blinked I couldnt find it again and it was over a metre long.
Can hear thunder to the north so I have gone around spraying the dogs’ beds and their collars with some dog appeasing pheromone. Hopefully we get what I can see on the radar!
