I commented yesterday Kas
considering I moved from a 2bdrm box to a 3bdrm twice as big house, with a storage room off the verandah, I still have too much – mind you I did have a huge shed at the old place that I don’t have here, just need to be better organised
only Blue Wren coming today, so I don’t need to be quite so gungho with the housework lol – she has been here before
Kasalia if only I could down size. My problem is DH who can’t wait to fill any spaces I manage to leave vacant both have a serious hoarding instinct, when I mention it the answer is always ” you never know when you will need that”.
Got busy and haven’t “dropped in for a few days”…………………..making venison sausages on Sunday, volunteer work Monday, Quilting group Tuesday and today started getting organized for a long over due holiday……………….off to FNQ to catch up with old friends :-). Still very quiet on the forum but good to know what some of you all are getting up to 😉
cold here this morning – not sure what is on the agenda for today
have a good holiday RTB
More concrete pouring for me
Chopped and dropped lots of pigeon peas this morning
planted some English spinach and some marigolds to entice the good bugs.
Slow day, slow weather, slow me .
yeah, not much happening here either
Moved cattle today into a new paddock and put out some protein supplement blocks and have a friend to check on all the stock for when we are away. Tomorrow will finalize packing up the camper and Sunday take the dog into the kennels…………………don’t trust her not to wander while we are away!
Reading the posts, it sounds like most are slowing down for winter LOL
In my case it is more likely to be a biological clock.
Eating mandarins, planting poblanos, collecting macadamias and mulching
just to bump this up – hair cut this morning, finally – been wanting one for the last 8wks,
I wasn’t going to spend much time outside today as I was feeling really cold but I had to go out and feed the fish and uncover the plants, while I was out there I heard a budgie sounded like it was in the back paddock so I listened a bit more and heard budgie sounds again ……. only it wasn’t one budgie but a small flock of about a dozen so I watched them on the grass…. needless to say when I got back inside my cuppa was stone cold.
Been busy away from home with kids sports! But from lunchtime today (its a longweekend in wa) got busy with home stuff … Scored well at the local tip to continue our crazy paving area (see pic) collected more limes & grapefruit (see pic) baked (see pic) … Now a bit of feet up!
Unfortunately no slowing down or sleep ins here!!
What sort of camper do you have roundthebend? We have a rearfold off road camper, love getting out & about when time allows!
Enjoy reading all your posts, lets keep it up!
