Went and got some blocks to build my side steps I could only fit 10 in the boot got to get another 10 tomorrow,Ive only got 1 step to go coming down the hill but dont want to start till after I get some wine delivered on wed ,so I dont trip over the postie
Planted more beans and peas today after soaking them overnight and fertilised everything
I planted butter beans 2 weeks ago haven’t shot yet may have to get more and try soaking
Another load of blocks for the side steps…..16 regular and 8x 1/2 blocks will give me 4 steps 200mm tread and 100mm rise 4 blocks wide…basically each step is 400x 800 the size of my granite tiles
Went for morning tea to the neighbours didnt come home till mid afternoon so not much but socialising ,swapped passion-fruits for oranges lemons and mandarins as part of the process so it was real good
this morning we FROZE
All the pipes froze, couldn’t get the frost off the car but nice and cozy inside around the wood stove.

LOL ADU I think the forum is on death’s door but wont lay down
Lol, good name. I finally got a small drying rack up on the ceiling, now the towels dry overnight.
I did some weeding today and finally got to chop up and pull out a grevillea that the storm blew out of the ground, found some more jonquils that I’d given up on.
Got my mulcher gave it a go…it likes dry palm fronds but just chews the greener stuff…you have to keep adjusting the striking plate so the gap between blade decreases,to get a good cutting action,,so far so good….did nothing today I have been busy for a few days had the neighbours over so cooking cleaning and trying to fix tripping hazards for the last few days….loved doing nothing might do more of that tomorrow too
Yea I did nothing today hadn’t quite finished so will probley do nothing tomorrow
