Well, I work on Monday’s now, so I spent the day peering down a microscope at a variety of aquatic macroinvertebrates.
Then I got to drive home in a howling thunderstorm.February 16, 2009 at 11:20 am #394801TullymoorMember

I did some carpentry. My kitchen has a window that was boarded up when the bathroom & loo were added on in the 50 or 60’s (the house was built in the 20’s). Today we took out the old casement window, lined the cavity & turned it into a display case.
It’s going to look great and it was really satisfying to learn that I can actually saw in a straight line. 😆February 16, 2009 at 12:54 pm #394806KippenMember
Oh, and I bought some worms for my first wicking worm box!February 16, 2009 at 11:18 pm #394807narellehMember
Today I have sent DH and DS#2 of to school/work.
I have done 2 loads of washing and swept the back verandah. Collected 2 big scoops of goose poo for the garden. DS#1&3 helped with chooks/geese/etc and rabbits.
We need to vaccuum the floor thru out (we have 5 bedrooms and a large extra play/comp/laundry combined) and shred paper to change the rabbit hutch. I also want to clean the windows.
Depending on weather this arvo (prob get storms) I might dig some sand out of the gully to fill potholes in the flat of the driveway:uhoh:
Have yet to work out dinner menu and have brekky too:pFebruary 16, 2009 at 11:42 pm #394808Reid_alderbooksMember
