Thanks HBG…
Today I spent with Daughter and Grandson. He has been unsettled but is becoming less so. His mum and he are communicating better now – she knows what he is telling her by his cries, his eyes and his smiles! We went to have him weighed at the chemist and in the afternoon, to a shop called Mothercare, I think (Coorparoo). We bought him a sling so his mum can start to do a few more things while she is carrying him around. It was a nice day.:)
Earlier this morning though, there was a minor disaster by way of some wasted honey – A bag tumbled out of the car when I opened the hatch – I was parked on a hill. 2 out of 3 jars fell to the ground and smashed! Oh dear. It was local stuff, and so good too… The clean up was awful. My family and friends, where I was visiting, were wonderful in helping so readily with the sticky, sharp cleaning up.:(
I also cut Rosie’s claws today, and she has been washed too. Thanks, Carol.
Currently enjoying some honey and cinnamon in hot water – for medicinal affects. Have just started to consume honey and cinnamon regularly. Supposed to be very good for absorbtion of nutrients in metabolisim, and arthritis amongst other things. Plus, I do like the taste.
The red panama passionfruits have started dropping off the vine as they are ripe, Mmmm. I squished one as it rolled under the wheel of the car, but there have been two others this week.
A big clean up & tidy under the house today. Plus some temporary chook fencing to confine the ladies to the backyard. My solar panels go up on Monday  and the crew won’t need curious chooks underfoot.
Today, just for a change, it’s raining. So I guess I will chainsaw up the firewood, sweep out the room and undercoat the other side of the door. After that …. sigh.
