I thought some ALSers might be interested in sharing some finds on ebay or wherever else. I came across this just now and thought someone may be interested. (no i’m not the one selling it)
Its an old clothes washing ringer, might be useful for someone during PO times. Looks quaint too!!
Oh I love it. I remember mum having one and catching her fingers in it.
This is a great idea for a thread Elliceh.
I luv old art deco stuff that is useful as well.
I can remember being in charge of catching the clothes as they came out.
Another gold nugget from ebay… a 1kw solar grid connect system…. fully installed

Vintage Wire Soap Saver/Shaker for Washing Up or Wash
Thanks for that Elizabeth I have been looking for a soap shaker for ages. I must have put the wrong thing in the search cos nothing ever came up.
Another soap saver/shaker
Yep…’nother one
II have my grandmothers egg beater and I am wondering if I can steal my parents soap shaker (most likely not tho they like to keep things just in case)
I used to love using it when I lived with my parents. $10 isn’t too bad for one.
One of the last items I bought on ebay (June 07) was TROPICAL & SUBTROPICAL TREES by MARGARET BARWICK. This is a wonderful book and if you’re in the right climate it’s invaluable. Often priced around the $150 mark as a new book, I was lucky enough to pay only $66 (new and pristine).
for those looking at the egg beaters, I saw them new in a shop today for $19
