We’ve had quite an array of suggestions for swaps this year and now it’s time to vote for what you really would like to see.
From the list below, please pick your favourite 3. Your first choice, second and then third choice. I’ll give you till end of Sunday 13th to make your choices and then I’ll tally up.
knitted/woven/felted thing for winter
keep warm for winter
home made preserve and recipe
something made from recycled things
bath set (washers, soap etc)
kitchen (teatowel, pot holder, dishcloth)
ladies day swap
man’s day swap
soft toy, or wood
Colour theme swap
In all honesty, I really don’t think we can do chooks (well, not live ones, anyway) and I’ve got my doubts about a husband swap too.
So which do you choose?
My choices are
1st – preserve/jam/pickle and accompanying recipe
2nd – Something warm for winter
3rd – Books
My top 3 are books, seeds and colour theme. If it does come down to husbands can I swap one of my nfriends husbands and do I have to ntell them it’s happening?
Whatever gets chosen I’ll be in it.
Mugs Oven mitts Colour theme (green? )
my three would be Colour Theme; Mug; and Op Shop. 😀
My choices of swaps are…..
opshop, books, seasonal decoration. Im sure I would get ‘return to sender’ marked on my husband anyway!
books, colour theme, op shop – haven’t done this befor but it sounds like fun.
something warm for winter
1. Something made from recycled things
2. op shop
3. something warm for winter 🙂
i would have to go for:
Op shop, books and colour theme.
As for swapping husbands there is no way I would swap my hubby! I dont want to take on someone elses problems I would simply give mine away! :silly:
veginout, it sortof works like a secret Santa, we all register our names, then assigned a buddy to make or buy something for (only cheap, mind). You post your gift, hopefully one arrives from somewhere unexpected from someone who has been thinking about you carefully!
I only participated in the opshop one last year, it was fun to work out what to send my buddy (for less than $5) and I got a lovely selection of stuff from my donor too!
yes,i am new to this swapping too.
do we find out a little about what the other person likes?
should be fun anyhow.
I’d love to take part, but happy not to vote. I’ll swap whatever everyone else decides 🙂
