it’s not just this, there’s other bad stuff about them as well, but I can’t for the life of me remember specifics,
I do know it’s pretty horrendous
Yikes! That video was pretty bad. Petition signed and no more nestly for us. Sadly, this means no more milo 🙁
Your body will thank you 😉
CAlliecat, you mean the formula promotion in countries where parents cannot afford to buy enough to keep the baby growing? Where water is very unclean and can make the baby sick and die? Where they have dressed their sales people as nurses and fooled the people into believing they’re being given medical information? Where they sponsor the building of hospitals but plan it so the nursery is far away from the maternity wards? 😉
This one is pretty awful. This mother was told she couldn’t possibly feed her twins. Being in Pakistan, she chose to feed her son and give her daughter formula. The daughter died very soon after the photo was taken
didn’t know the full extent of that, I just remember something about him/them bragging about slave/child labor and along those lines
Signed the petition. Thanks for posting it.
I haven’t bought a Nestle product for years and never will knowingly buy anything made by them. They’re an evil company.
Done, along with a quick look at the other link posted about water – unbelievable! i hate to think what’s next
Here is a link to Nestle’s products: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nestlé_brands (in case anyone wants to boycott). There are so many…
One of the current things doing the facebook rounds at the moment is that L’oreal (30% owned by Nestle) still uses cruel techniques on animals to test products.
A while ago, I watched a show on SBS that worked out eating sugar makes you look older (has something to with the sugar’s effect on cells. And it’s true, I look younger now than I did 4 years ago, after removing a huge amount of sugar from my diet). But instead of suggesting one stops eating sugar, L’oreal came up with a very very expensive lotion to use. Cos if they’d suggested losing sugar from one’s diet, their company would go bust lol
Do you know that L’oreal also own The Body Shop – which means that Nestle do 🙁
We have boycotted Nestle for around 22 years. Nasty company that will do anything to keep share holders happy.
there tentacles spread as far and wide as monsanto 🙁
I just watched the video link  – I’m not allowed to write what I really think of that guy for risk of offending someone with my language 👿
