Sourdough bread starter

I make my own sourdough bread with a rye starter I was given about 15 months ago. We don’t eat a lot of bread, but I need to feed my starter regularly so end up throwing some starter away most weeks. If anyone is interested in getting some starter let me know. It may be possible to post some starter if you send an air tight container through the post with return postage paid. PM me.
Will get back to you.You can keep your starter in the frig for a long time without feeding it, then make a secondary starter with some of it.Will get back with fuller info.Gotta go now , or Gotta zip as kevin Rudd would say ……….
I followed the process from “The Bouchon Bakery” cookbook and keep mine in the fridge. When I want to make sourdough, I take it out of the fridge the night before. Next morning I’ll use what I want, feed the rest, leave it out to work for 4-5 hours then back in the fridge.
I also read that you can keep it in the freezer. I’ve got one in the freezer but haven’t thawed it out and tried it yet.
