Hi
I love eating pigeon peas, they are so very tasty. However it takes a long time to process them.
I know that processors exist and are used in countries such as India. However I have not found (through a Google search) any information on mechanical processors (either manual or automatic) within Australia.
So if anyone has thoughts on how to easily shell pigeon peas, I would love to hear about it. 🙂
Cheers,
Jason.
Put them in a paper bag and leave them. they open soon enought.
Employ many children with small fingers. 😆
PS – must add that I have six kids, Jason, so we just sit and shell. Sorry, very unhelpful comment, but it’s quick enough once they’re quite dry.
How do you prepare them for eating, Jason?
