There is always some regulation that means people can’t even be neighborly anymore. At the moment our state government is forcibly amalgamating councils int huge conglomerates which I doubt will reduce red tape. And one of our oldest open markets is being turned into…. You guessed High Rise.
Meanwhile because of rents sections of the city and previously thriving small businesses can no longer stay so interesting places where you could have a farmers market, a coffee and snack are no longer there. All are becoming just the big businesses so everywhere is looking the same. Sigh
