I have a heap of seeds that I am not going to use this summer. Some are self-saved, some from Eden Seeds and some from Mrs Fothergills (sp).
Here’s the list:
– Capsicum (3 or 4 different varieties – I never have a lot of success with capsicum seeds)
– Leaf amaranth (warning – you will only want to sow 4 or 5 seeds because each plant makes millions more seeds)
– Giant amsterdam spinach
Would anyone like to swap for something small that you are trying to get rid of? Maybe an empty jar or two, some scrap fabric or buttons from old clothes that you are throwing out, or even a postcard (I love postcards from other places).August 28, 2010 at 4:30 am #475025mumof6Member

I’ve promised mumof6 the popcorn, some leaf amaranth and amsterdam spinach.
Jarsgrrl, I’ll send you some leaf amaranth too (will PM) because I probably have some that I can save from the plants in the garden.August 28, 2010 at 9:15 am #475028GrethMember
If you still have popcorn on offer, we would love some. Name your price in scrap material, what are you making? I can pick something suitable fairly easily I think!August 29, 2010 at 10:13 pm #475029

No worries Dianne – just PM me your details. I’m going to the Post Office on Thursday so will send them then (that’s assuming I survive tandem sky diving on Thursday morning)August 29, 2010 at 10:38 pm #475033

Sorry everyone … I couldn’t get myself organised before I left on my holiday. I had a few work and personal things that came up and took up more time & energy than I expected. I promise to send everything off in Monday’s post (16th Sept) after I’m back from Tassie.
Sincere apologies.September 16, 2010 at 8:11 pm #475035
Okay – so I’ve been slack. Sorry. I had a lot on my mind the past few weeks and let everything get away from me.
The seeds are now safely in envelopes and I’ll swing by a post box during my lunch break.
Sorry again.September 16, 2010 at 8:22 pm #475036calliecatParticipant
Hi Herb, would you have any leaf amaranth seeds left? if so would it be possible to bring them to the GTG – I have some garlic chives – and can find some buttons if you still would like some of them, hmm, what else can you take home on the bike – still have some oranges, but they would be a tad bulky.

I don’t have any of the shop bought leaf amaranth seeds but have heaps of seed heads in the garden. Will cut one off and bring it (each seed head has thousands of seeds in it)September 16, 2010 at 8:53 pm #475038calliecatParticipant
