Reaction to pain

I just found out the hard way what it feels like to get hit with the end of an aluminium ceiling fan blade. I was lifting a box off a word robe and forgot the fan was there and it hit the back of my hand. Big gash right across the back of my hand and may have cracked the bone coming up from the middle finger. Lots of blood and pain with spasms going up to the elbow. I decided not to do it again just to experience the pain going away. The swelling has started to go down so thats good.
I don’t recommend doing it but if you don’t believe me be my guest to try it.
:jawdrop: That sounds very nasty! Typing that must have been one handed I suppose.Hope it heals up OK.Does it need stitiching?
Yes type with one hand and I guess it should have been stitched but I pulled it together. Maybe we need to add duct tape and super glue to our survival kits. lol.
Super glue or medical counterpart is quite often used for wounds. My hubby had his head glued up – not exactly “together”!!! – once.
