Raw milk is a great source of vitamins, in particular vitamin B12, which is an important vitamin that is hard to find in non-meat sources. It also contains the enzyme IgG and vitamins A, B, and C.

Raw milk sellers beware. The govt. are right onto this at the moment. There was a story on the telly about this a couple of nights ago. I didn’t see the whole program but gleaned that a

re-seller of Cleopatra’s Bath Milk was fined around $180,000 in court. Just found an article on the subject. No time to look for more.

I’ve just done a quick google and found a couple of articles that you might be talking about, but ti seems to be the stores selling the milk, rather then Cleopatra’s, but I could be wrong

Thank you for those links and the news alert.

    From the newspaper article-

“It’s strange, because raw goat’s milk is legal but raw cow’s milk is not, so a lot of people feed their children raw goat’s milk instead.”

Raw goat milk is actually a safer product as goats don’t get tb or brucelosis.

And even though I do not agree with the govt action on this one at all ,I personally would not be buying milk from any big dairy operation unless I personally inspected it and it operated under humane and organic principles.I am not saying Cleopatra’s do not do this but I have no evidence that they do.

I’ve seen it 🙂 Loads of beautiful green pasture. The manager’s wife was

    one of my children’s teachers.

I love the comment at the end of that article about TB. I reckon you’d

probably have a higher risk of a car accident than catching TB, but

how many people refuse to get into their car every day?? 😉
