    That’s a terrific way to use up some of the ‘left overs’. :clap::clap: I reckon a border or even two borders would set the quilt off beautifully. :tup:

    I have just enrolled in a quilting class :D. I have my pattern that is fairly simple for my first attempt. Can anyone recommend where I can source good quality and affordable quilting fabric, either online or in Perth????? Cant wait to start!

    You can get good quality fabrics from the quilting section at Textile Traders and Spotlight. If you are in Serpentine you are a bit far away from me in the northern suburbs and my sources of fabrics but there are lovely ones online (watch the budget go bye byes!). Hancocks of Paducah in the USA has lovely fabrics for mail order and they are often cheaper than the ones we can source here, but watch the exchange rate.

    Have fun -I have just started my quilting exploits and it is certainly a lot of fun.
