You bet John 😀 although with all the rain we’ve had even they will have gum boots on ;):D
Anyone have any preferences for dates in January?
Has anyone any date preferences? 😀
As long as Anne is back from her Brissie Crissie then just name the day…..
We are OK for any day apart from Saturday 10th January.
OK, sounds good. How about the 17th as a Date?
The 17th is good for us, the way the weathers going we’ll either need a snorkell and flippers or beanie and gloves:p
Thanks for this Mauzi:D
ha! ha! red, it is a bit like that – never sure what to wear in any one day. Anyway, looking forward to meeting all of you that I don’t yet know (in person anyway) and catching up with those I do.
Unless anyone has any objections – looks like the 17th will work.
Saturday the 17th January, 2009 and at what time do you reckon???
The 17th looks like it’s gone pear-shaped for me in terms of the ALS gtg. I’ve signed up to do a Permaculture Design Course with one of the local permie people and that’s one of the day’s it’s operating (the only other Saturday its on is next Saturday). I presume it will be going from 9 ’til 5.
What are peoples thoughts on the timing of the GTG? Are we thinking morning, afternoon, evening?
As I’ve indicated in the post above, I expect to be at the PDC until late afternoon but could arrive at Mauzi’s late afternoon/early evening. If it’s an afternoon thing I may be able to call in and say hello.
I missed this thread!!! Glad it has been bumped onto the home page.
I would love to come to the New England GTG.
Any weekend day from 17 Jan onwards is good for me. Am going on an course from 26 Dec to 6 Jan without DW (and I won’t be able to contact her from the course either) so would like to be home w/e 11 Jan.
Hey Mauzi – did you guys enjoy the book? Did it give your DH ideas? 😉
Gaz – where is you PDC – I didn’t think there was one on top of the range?
It’s being run by Jane Growns. Here’s a link: http://www.livinlightly.com.au/courses
I did an intro to Permaculture earlier in the year at Ryde TAFE and I’m looking forward to the full course.
So thats who owns the blue dome!!
The PDC I was going to do has been cancelled due to a number of people withdrawing. As a result I’m good for any part of the day on the 17th January.
