im into diversified small farming, organics, sustainability etc, hoping to do a permaculture design course this year, im not very experienced with gardening but not afraid to get my hands dirty when trying things out.
im currently seeking a small patch on the outskirts of melbourne, to lease or buy or make a deal, to grow food and raise animals for my wife and sons, and live a simpler healthier lifestyle, closer to nature.
off course i would love to go far away from the city but we have family and community ties we dont want to sever.
i hope to benefit a lot from this forum and hopefully return the benefit at some stage.
thanks for reading
G’day Abdullah and welcome to ALS:wave:
I wouldn’t worry about your lack of experience with gardening the best lessons come from getting in there and having a go.
Enjoy the journey to simple living.
Hello Abdullah,
Nice to meet you.
 Hi! Sometimes being close to the city has it’s advantages too.
Good luck with the gardening… I’ve had a steep learning curve getting into growing our own! It’s hard work, but very rewarding! I remind myself, at least I am not reliant on what I grow to feed myself and my family, though who knows what the ftutre may bring, that’s why I’m learning now!
There is nothing like being in touch with what earth offers us, all the best finding your peace of the good earth.
G’day Abdullah & welcome.
