I have a puppy Border Collie ,kelpie x 10 wks old ,will try and get a photo tomorrow.
The poor little thing my son and I drove 70k yesterday to look at a free pup they had sold the rest this one had no future and the owners where suspect.
Very timid tail between legs 10 wks old very thin and looked like she had mange ,she suffers from a genetic disorder ,still has all her white hair but not much black all patchy it was passed down from the father who is pure white + one black spot .:uhoh:
This woman is irresponsible breeding from that dog:tdown:,Im taking the little one to the vet Monday, full of fleas etc,I just couldnt leave her there and my son agreed.:(
Shes asleep at the moment with a doll in her bed:hug:
Ive called her Ranee her name comes partly from Rainbow + my dog JesseMarch 27, 2009 at 12:50 pm #402523

Amazing how things always work out how they are meant to. You and Ranee were obviously meant to find each other. She needs someone who cares enough to look after her and you felt the need for another companion and sought her out. She will be a wonderful loving dog.
Have you ever noticed the ones that have a roughish start always end up being the most amazing and affectionate dogs. I think because their humans have to put in more effort to win their trust they bond so much better and have a deeper love for each other. Can’t wait to see photos. Congratulations.:tup:March 28, 2009 at 12:13 am #402532

Sounds like this baby was meant to be yours. Driving that far, and loving her right away! Yep! Your’s alright, and a bright new happy future for Ranee too.

Heres Ranee + RodMarch 28, 2009 at 2:20 am #402535
Ranee is cute but none too sure about the flashy boxy thing that mum is pointing at her. 😆March 28, 2009 at 3:02 am #402536
 yay for you rescuing her, problems and all! Being a previous dog owner you are well aware of what’s involved and you still took her on – I so admire you for that! So many “dog lovers” would have disapproved of her because she wasn’t a perfect pure bred, from idiot breeders etc, etc, but you saw through the fleas and took her home anyway. My resounding applause for this action!
You’ll get a lot of love from her and she so deserves a good home. All my best wishes for a long and happy future together. Give her tummy rubs for me!
