    Hey ,

Have been given a couple of Muscovy ducks .Happened very quickly a day ago .They needed rehoming right away ,so have not had any time to research much.
They are very friendly and tame .I have read that they like to fly .
I do not want to clip their wings as  we have a feral cat, foxes,a huge snake etc roaming on our block.
At the moment they are quite cosy in a nice big shed ,and my poor husband has been told he can have the shed back when he builds them a nice new house .
But i do not like things cooped up if they don’t need to be.
Yesterday i filled a pool for them and covered it in a sheet (was hot here in WA ) and they loved it .
Would love to let them have as much outdoor time as possible .
So my totally new to the world of feathered things question is how long do you think i should keep them indoors before they feel at home?? Or is that just for cats lol.

You will have to upload some photos 🙂

It’s a good idea to leave them in the shed for a few days so they get use to that safe environment and will hopefully go back inside at night by themselves.
