Hi all you clever people out there.
I was hopimg for some advice please.
I have a small pond that I recently filled and about 2 seconds later it was full to bursting with moquito larvae. How do I get rid of them and/or prevent them coming back?
Sorry not sure if this is the right place for this subject.
Put a couple of fish in there, they won’t last long 🙂
Humbugs suggestion is great. The other alternative is to put a pump in the pond so the water is constantly moving. Mozzies tend to like still water rather than flowing water.
Hope this helps.:)
I just recently went on a vendetta against the mozzie population in my pond. I cleaned it right out and put some Whitc Cloud Mountain Minnows in there. They don’t eat frogs eggs or tadpoles, which is good, because I have added some tadpoles too.
