    Hi Rhonda

Our kids started life home-schooled using the Montessori method :geek:

They turned out to be a couple of outstanding young citz :shy:

I also learned how to make some great ‘toys’ as a result :geek:

Just thought I’d share that 😀

    Some other resources:

Yahoo group for making Montessori materials to use for home education – Subscribe: montessorimakers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

And another yahoo group is Montessori_Swap-subscribe@yahoogroups.com which is to buy, sell and swap Montessori materials

Another yahoo group which is hsshoeboxswap-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

This is a list for homeschool families to swap “shoeboxes” that reflect their geographical area and their family.

We started our home education using Montessori materials, and while we do still use them occasionally, we’ve fallen into a more natural learning style now. Still love the philosophy though, and a classroom of Cycle 1 Montessori children is lovely to watch.
