There is something that goes down the middle that is the missing part

The 2nd pic has some mystery pieces, not too sure what they’re for.

The bowl has a bit of rust to it also.

Hope I havent gotten your hopes up too high.

DH has seen one in the antique store in WW it was a pretty price.

I’m not sure if the store is still open it was situated on Edward St. near Railway St

    Hi Karyn

We have just had a lady come and look at it for us this afternoon and we managed to pull it all apart and everything is there including a couple of spares. We have scrubbed rust off most of it and are planning to get it sand blasted to get it really clean and then the bowl and innards re-coated. The discs appear to have been replaced at some time as they are much newer than the rest and dont need any work. I need to get a new O ring and some oil for the mechanical bit. We then need to bolt it down to a base and it should work and last us for years!!!!!!!!!

We are extremely happy now and just need to get it all fixed up and we will be separating cream from milk.

Glad I could make your wish come true LOL.

    Hi Weaver,

Glad you got your cream separator. What brand is it? I couldn’t tell from the pics that I could see.

When you repaint it, careful. You must use food grade paint, sometimes its best just to leave them unpainted if you can’t find food grade paint.

Goodluck using it! Make some Parmesan Cheese!

I was reading somewhere today that you can get cream separator parts tin plated in metal fabrication shops for a reasonable price and the o rings can be sourced from auto parts places.

Good luck with it- looks much easier than scooping it out with a spoon 😉
