There seem to be an increasing number of new threads being started under the “Introduce Yourself” category that require moving to a more appropriate section. I realise this is because when you go to create a new thread “Introduce Yourself” is already displayed under the Category and it’s easy to miss.
Just keep in mind if you’re creating a new thread.

Yes, so easy not to go to the appropriate category.I did it a few times on the new site before I twigged. New site is great, not “knocking” it, but there’s nothing to point people to going to the right category when it just says New Thread. Is it possible to slip a clear direction up there somehow?
Perhaps after “Introduce yourself” could you just put “OR SELECT CATEGORY”.
Could we get our lovely programmers to put the default to a blank category, which if you dont select a topic it wont let you post it, prompting you to select a category?
Bump…
Hello all,
Just giving this a bump :bump: as I notice the incidence of this is creeping up again.
Please make sure when you start a new thread that you pick the appropriate category.
