Ive got confidor and sprayed but there is sooooooooooo many:@
small and red (bigger ones and clear type bubby ones and moves quick.
Verry small tho.
Verry simular shape to the bronze orange bug but way smaller and look somewhat easyly squshable 😆October 24, 2009 at 7:26 am #438824

Ok so upon closer inspection they are in 2 beds and fast little buggers who dont stay still and verry small.
Ive taken a MP4 on DH phone cos my camrea is broken.
Im haveing problems getting it uploaded but you cant see them clear to see what they are its just things moving 😆 but when i fix this problem ill get it up 🙂
They are redish in color (bigger ones and the bubby ones are almost clear) Im not kidding when i say lots but you have to look close to see like kneel at the beds if you get me?October 24, 2009 at 8:57 am #438828
sure theyre not a red spider mite type bug cos these r really small and i have had em in my veggie patch b4 and they looked like they were everywhere
otherwise no ideaOctober 24, 2009 at 9:08 am #438829
I agree with recyclingdiva – sounds like it could be some kind of mites – they move really fast and come in different types and colours. They don’t like the wet/humid weather, so as soon as it dries up, they come out. You can try misting the area with water or giving them a squirt with the hose. They’re a bugger – we had them in the aquaponics system, but misting with water helped. I’ve seen them out in our garden at the moment – fingers crossed not too many at this stage….October 24, 2009 at 9:12 am #438830
I think they might be a mite 🙂
Thanks its all so new 😆
Ill try the hose cos i normally give them a wet morn and night but i havent been so vigulant the last 2 days as its so hot then a storm its so unpredicatble.
Im hopeing they sod off soon cos it sceard the poo outa me 😆
So do mites do anything to your vegies like eat them?October 24, 2009 at 9:16 am #438831

i think i used derris dust on the last lot of mites i had, or i could have used pestene powder when i couldnt find the derris lol whateva came to hand that wasnt too toxic i spose. i had them all over my paths and climbing the walls of our rendered brick house too tho, and when i kneeled down they crawled on me , yukOctober 24, 2009 at 9:18 pm #438836
Thanks Jessiebean 🙂
RD, I know its like “oh come on and sod off already” 😆
I get ichy just thinking about it.
I soakled my beds last night and this morn so ill keep that up again and DH would have a go at me for watering morn and night and i stop and i get these so i told him i will start again and not to say a thing unless he wants no harvest 😆
