hey there, have a look at this:
I fell in love with this idea and have been looking around in op shops for clothing that I can turn into yarn.
I’ve just cut up a pair of jeans with the aim of knitting a bath mat or two (ours always seems to be wet so I want a few to rotate) but it looks like I will have to use two or three pairs of old jeans. I’m just cutting the legs and using the top for patches when I mend our wearable jeans – when they are beyond repair I will cut them up too!!! I just need to get some needles and I’ll be sewing (in plain stitch) away without having spent money on yarn!!
