I am after one of these trees. Besides diggers any suggestions where I could find one in Adelaide
I saw kiwi berries in Coles the other day – I nearly bought a punnet to try. Would the seeds be viable?
if you look on daleys website, it sounds pretty hard to get them going from seed.
they are yummo jaden62.
Ive rung everywhere, looks like Im joining diggers :Sigh:
Oh yes please
would you like me to pop some dollars in the mail to you, or pay you through paypal now?
I found one at a nursury here!!
Good find penny!
I bought mine from Bunnings
Thank you Mummyjas. It was nice to put a name to a face from this forum as well.
PS my daughter would love your car LOL
I got mine from Diggers. It grew well over summer so hopefully it will bear fruit next summer.
We had lunch with friends a few weeks ago, and she had some of these on a fruit plate for dessert – they were really nice! Tasted very much like a kiwi but without the fuss of having to peel them. Might have to look into getting a plant as well.
Just a slight cautionary note. Some kiwiberries are self pollinating others need a male Heywood Kiwifruit to cross pollinate. If you have a small garden self pollinating kiwiberries are great but to manage a large and heavy Heywood male as a pollinator can be problematic in a limited space if your choice needs cross pollinating. So choose carefully.
I got the issai, which is a self polinator
