Do any of you remember when this lady was trying to get this place up and running? There was a bit of negative conversation from a couple of people at the time. Well we went out and had a look for ourselves a d was really impressed with the wonderful work that these people are doing. They got wiped out in the 2011 floods and have been slowly getting back on their feet. Haven’t heard how they’ve fared in the current rain event but just thought I’d share their website with you.
Just heard that the farm is gone again. Their animals are ok but all their hard work is gone again. Such a shame.
Thanks for that link Sue. The dvd’s are wonderful. What a tragedy that they have been flooded out twice. And what wonderful people to save animals in need.

Have they considered moving out of a flood zone ?
I don’t think they can afford to move. They seem to be back on track with lots of fundraising happening. Truly irrepressible optimists.
Its not that they live in a flood zone as such- just the two massive rain events we have had in 11 and 13 have done them no favours.
