Littlest one dropped an egg as she was running on the carpet. So it’s spread quite far. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, it was a double yoker! How do I get it out of the carpet?
Sorry, but I did smile about the double yolker.Truly Murphy’s Law. I’d be going for a good scrub and kneeling/standing on lots and lots of thick kitchen paper to absorb the scrub I think, but there’s probably a better way.
I’d smother it with cooking salt which will soak it up and then lift it up with a blunt knife. Dab clean with carb soda mixed with water.
Good luck with it.

If you’re going to use water, don’t forget to make it COLD or the egg will set 🙂
First I scraped it up as best I could, while trying to avoid rubbing it in further, then I sprayed it with white vinegar & used many paper towels soaking it up (no rubbing). Happy to say it worked a treat.
