A question for all the homeschoolers out there. Does anyone use ACC/ Australian Christian College and if so how do you find the distance ed program?

Sorry edited to include distance ed. program 😀

I have been home schooled/done my own schooling with ACA/ACC since prep. I’ve found it fairly good. However, I’ve had to use a different Math book, as their Math is a bit behind to begin with but then gets really hard suddenly at about year 10/11.

I preferred to use saxon math. They explain the work much better.

I found every thing else with ACC great, especially the english.

The service is also good, the staff are very friendly.

Also, I get to go to the ACC/SCEE student conventions, which are heaps of fun and great learning experiences.

So all in all, about 8 out of 10 for me.

Hope all that was helpful-ish…. 🙂

I did for my DS in 4th and 5th grade, I found the staff very helpful. My DS, however, was extremely sceptical of the Christian beliefs!! Once he makes up his mind, thats it!

I use it for my twins x 2 and they love it. I supplement the work with some of my own and they love the residentials too. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the school for their distance ed program.

Thanks for those replies. It’s good to know people recommend the program.
