I just got several new geese (males and females) that I would like to introduce to an existing flock of geese. How can I introduce the two groups safely so that they do not kill each other? I am especially concerned because it is still the mating season, when geese tend to be particularly aggressive. At the moment, two of the existing girls are sitting on their eggs.

I had a large chook pen aprox 1 acre.

I used to open the gate in the morning and the geese then went down to a nearby dam for the day returning to the run at night.

because they had enough room to get away from each other i didn’t have a problem .

I realise not every one can do that so I can only suggest that if possible you have them next to each other untill they become used to the new commers then if possible let them out to free range together where they have room to get away if things go wrong.
