As a sidethought… would be good if we had some kind of directory for local markets and we can review and look at other reviews on each one.January 28, 2009 at 12:14 pm #389833

That sounds a good idea:tup:
I think if we could meet at about 10.00am in the food shed at the end away from where the music is played.January 28, 2009 at 6:07 pm #389834
I would love to be there but I never know what I am doing from one day to the next. I’ll add it to my calendar but I can’t guarantee it. When ever I plan something it all falls apart. It would be nice to see the market too.
How will I know who to look for?January 29, 2009 at 7:52 am #389835

Just to confirm, the GTG is at the Nanango showgrounds, meet about 10:00am at the food shed.
Is the shed in the N, S E or W of the grounds? Around the ring?
Looking at a satellite photo on Google.

The large food shed overlooks the main ring and is on the east then to the south of it is the woodchop area, you can’t miss it there is always a line up for food:lol: they also have live music being played in there.February 7, 2009 at 10:07 am #389845
Well, I’m back home after a big day out. I now know it is 210km and 2hrs 40mins between Boonah and Nanango. It was worth it though.
It was a really nice drive – especially through the Benarkin, Blackbutt, Yarraman and Nanango areas.
Then we (me, DW and DS4) got to walk around the Nanango markets – plants everywhere.
And then, to top it all off, I met Judi B, Marigold, Goodness and Earth Mother. What wonderful people!
And I left with a stash of bulbs and seeds.
Thanks guys for a great day.February 7, 2009 at 10:23 am #389846
Thank you Steve( DW and DS4) for taking the effort to come.
I did enjoy meeting you and yours, and your DS4 was very well behaved.
I hope all the seeds and bulbs grow for you.
Thanks for coming:hug:
